POST TITLE: Diverse Ethnic Communities Counsellor

SALARY: £34,000 (pro-rata)

HOURS: 15 hours a week (in-person)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Trauma Counsellor to provide culturally responsive therapeutic support to individuals from diverse ethnic communities. This role focuses on delivering trauma-informed care that acknowledges the unique cultural, social, and systemic factors affecting mental health and well-being.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where clients feel understood, respected, and supported in their healing journey. In addition to direct client work, the role includes contributing to the development and delivery of professional training.

Hours: Minimum of 8 per month

About the Role

Trauma Healing Together is a registered charity requiring an organised, pro-active and friendly person to support the charity to raise funds.

 

We are looking for someone who has experience of organising community events and feels confident building reaching out to organisations and building relationships.  

 

As part of this role, you will be offered training in trauma, reimbursed for travel costs and will receive mentoring from an experienced fundraiser. You will be joining a small inclusive team where you will have lots of opportunities to develop your skills and build experience.

Post Title: Social Media & Content Volunteer

Contract Type: Voluntary

Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Remote

Hours: Minimum of 2 hours per week

Trauma Healing Together is a registered charity requiring an organised, creative, and passionate person to support the charity in achieving its vision.

 

We are looking for someone who has experience in social media to work alongside our PR volunteer and Events and Marketing Officer.

 

As part of this role, you will be offered training in trauma and will receive regular mentoring. You will also be offered the opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge by attending our comms and marketing strategic planning meetings.

Trustee

Post Title: Trustee x 1

Contract Type: Volunteer, fixed term for 2 years

Responsible to: Board of Trustees

Hours: 3 hours a month. All meetings are held online, apart from our annual strategy day which takes place at our premises in Perth.

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated, empathic, and ambitious candidates who have an interest in mental heath and trauma and would like to be at the forefront of establishing and strategically leading a brand-new charity. Our values are extremely important to us and as such we also seek trustees whose values strongly align with that of the organisations.

We have a particular need for expertise in the following areas:

  • Campaigning/PR – A trustee who can strategically raise awareness of the organisation and have the knowledge, expertise and contacts to do this effectively. 

  • HR - A trustee who provide guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of governance in policies and practice related to recruitment, retention, performance and reward as well as staff and trustee development.

  • Governance and Legal – A trustee who can advise and guide the charity to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and relevant legislation.
