About the role
​
The Community Fundraising and Events Officer will be responsible for driving income generation to support the growth and sustainability of Trauma Healing Together via community fundraising initiatives. The post-holder will lead on planning, delivering, and evaluating a programme of community events, working creatively to engage individuals, volunteers, groups, and local businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised fundraiser to make a tangible difference by generating the vital funds needed to expand our trauma-informed services.

Post title: Trainee Placement Counsellor

Contract Type: Voluntary with minimum 6 months commitment
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: 8 Kinnoull Street, Perth
Hours: Minimum of 3 clinical hours per week plus monthly supervision sessions and clinical research discussion group.

About the role
​
Trauma Healing Together is a charity requiring passionate trainee counsellors to help us to support trauma survivors in a face to face counselling setting.
As part of this role, you will be offered training in trauma, supervision and an opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge by attending our clinical research discussion groups.
If successful at the recruitment stage, you will be required to undergo a PVG check and safeguarding training in advance of beginning the placement.

Trauma Healing Together is a registered charity requiring an organised, creative, and passionate person to support the charity in achieving its vision.
We are looking for someone who has experience in social media to work alongside our PR volunteer and Events and Marketing Officer.
As part of this role, you will be offered training in trauma and will receive regular mentoring. You will also be offered the opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge by attending our comms and marketing strategic planning meetings. Trauma Healing Together is a registered charity requiring an organised, pro-active and friendly person to support the charity to raise funds.
We are looking for someone who has experience of organising community events and feels confident building reaching out to organisations and building relationships.
As part of this role, you will be offered training in trauma, reimbursed for travel costs and will receive mentoring from an experienced fundraiser. You will be joining a small inclusive team where you will have lots of opportunities to develop your skills and build experience.
