ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Perth and Kinross Mental Health Festival was created to bring people together and provide support to those struggling with the after-effects of Covid-19. From experience, we know that it can sometimes be difficult knowing where to go to for support and even more challenging to reach out and ask for help. This year, we want to focus on breaking the stigma of mental health and normalise it as something that all people experience.
This year, the festival will be held at the Perth Concert Hall in Perth on the 6th and 7th of August, with the exception of Lars and the Real Girl Film screening (5th August, AK Bell Library), Fencing (Riverview Business Park) and 'Lets Go Mental' (Railway Staff Club).
Working alongside our partners, the weekend will be jam packed with workshops, talks, live music and various interactive activities. We hope that the festival will increase awareness of the support that is out there and make it more accessible to all.
