POST TITLE: Project Manager
Salary Scale: £35,000 (pro-rata)
Contract Type: Fixed term (Funded until end of November 2021)

Location: Remote
Hours: 7 hours a week for 6 months

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
As a charity we work closely with people who have experienced psychological trauma and are living with the symptoms of this. We work in partnership with trauma survivors to improve their quality of life through therapy, training and personal development, shaping future services and the understanding of trauma through research projects. We promote a holistic and multi-faceted approach to treating all types of psychological trauma, prioritising mutual understanding and respect of clients, staff and volunteers. As an organisation we thrive to be transparent, consistent and autonomous. We are looking for a person who shares our values and has skills that can contribute to shape a small growing charity.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee ‘Perth and Kinross Mental Health Festival’ to ensure that it delivers on its outcomes.

Line Manage and Support the Communication and Event Officer in their duties, ensuring that they receive regular supervision, support, training and annual appraisals.

To keep up to date with new developments in the fields of mental health and ensure that the organisation can respond rapidly to them.

Represent the organisation at external events and publicity opportunities.

To take overall responsibility for achieving, monitoring and reporting on performance against funders’ targets for the project

Secure funding for delivery of key activities following the end of the project.

Establish strong partnerships with third sector organisations in the local area and get them on board with the project.

Organise and chair regular partnership meetings in relation to the project.

Take responsibility for project finances ensuring that the project is delivered within the allocated budget.

Evaluate the outcome of the project and provide evidence within a written report for funders and the board.

Act as a mental health expert for the organisation, developing and delivering educational talks and resources as part of the project.

To undertake any tasks that may reasonably be expected of the post holder by the Trauma Healing Together.
